A recent poll displayed Newcastle as the best airport in the UK, the algorithm used is passenger satisfaction.
The aspects of travel the poll includes are checking-in, baggage collection cleanliness, wifi access and more, reports Telegraph.
The poll conducted by cheapflights.co.uk displayed the top 15 UK airports and shows them in order of ranking.

The rankings will be grim reading for London based airport as Gatwick, Stansted and Luton all fall to the lower end of the 15 airports. The poll proves that size doesn’t always equate satisfaction and that Newcastle have done a great job of making exponential growth. The North England airport topped most sub categories including toilets, cleanliness and more. The all rounder exceeded expectations and is now renowned as one of the most well-run airports in Britain.
